Hidden Reflections

High School English students have been reading novels of different genres. In the past students have concluded the study of their book with a book commercial. This time students asked if they could display their understanding though a different media. Together we came up with a task of Hidden Reflections. Hidden Reflections require the reader of the book to develop a poster in which key events, people, or objects must be somehow represented, yet won’t give away any part of the book, or possibly will not make sense to someone who has not read the book. Our key challenge, as in a good book commercial, was to demonstrate without a doubt that they had deep understanding of the content without giving away the end! In this case, key pieces of the books are represented, but only those who have read the book should know what the representations mean. Please go to the blogs of my HS class and respond to their Hidden Reflections. Find these at blogs of: Anna, Joao, Keegan, Olivia, Pedro or Prakriti and look for their Hidden Reflections on their blogs over The Giver.
I encourage you to leave comments.
