February 13-17 students and staff at GLCA participated in Encouragement Week. Thanks to Olivia’s project, a few moments of time during this special week were captured for you to enjoy.

Since we are talking about “encouragement” there is no better time than now to share something special about one of our students. One of Ana’s teachers from another center shared that Ana had won a coloring contest at their facility. So, to encourage Ana, and all budding artists, I want to post her winning picture. Way to go Ana!

Students in our room were also working to encourage our friends in York, Pennsylvania by writing to them about Encouragement Week. Below are the special letters to our friends:

One of our high school students has been working to develop a GLCA Newscast. We worked to incorporate green screen for the first time. It was a great learning experience for all!

3rd and 4th graders also have two more book commercials to share with you. We hope that you will enjoy the products of our learning.
